

Michelle Sherman is the 50th Anniversary Coordinator for Pax Christi USA, certified spiritual director, and retreat presenter. Since 2008, she has served in various pastoral ministries in New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; and Worcester, MA. Michelle is a former Pax Christi USA National Council member and former co-convener of the Pax Christi Young Adult Caucus (PCYAC). She has co-authored Pax Christi USA’s Advent and Lenten reflection booklets and wrote A Prayer for Peace and Solidarity in a Time of Pandemic. Included in her many interests are the integration of art, spirituality, and justice; gardening; and knitting!
Nicholas Rademacher is professor of Religious Studies at the University of Dayton. His teaching and scholarship focuses on the relationship between faith and justice, Catholic social thought and practice, and U.S. Catholic history. He wrote a biography of Pax Christi USA's 1980 Teacher of Peace, Paul Hanly Furfey: Paul Hanly Furfey: Priest, Scientist, Social Reformer (Fordham University Press, 2017). His most recent publications have explored histories of racial justice practices in Catholic communities in mid-twentieth-century America. He is the co-editor of American Catholic Studies.
