PAX CHRISTI MICHIGAN was thrilled and honored to present Father C. Peter Dougherty as the keynote speaker for our 30th Annual State Conference, held Saturday, March 26, 2011 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Brighton, MI.

Workshops Included:    “A Force More Powerful in Palestine: Creative Nonviolence on the March” ; “Immigration – What’s Happening with ICE Detention in Michigan” ; “Connecting the Dots: Immigrant Workers and Food Justice” ;  “The Politics of Food and Healthy Eating" ; “Using Alternative Media in Your Peace Activism” ; “Creating Public Space for Building Community” ;  “A Revolution of Values: Biblical Resources for a New Economics” ;  “What is the future of Pax Christi’s Young Adult Movement: Let’s Make a Plan” ;  Power, Privilege, and Oppression”;   and “Witness And Word: Discipleship, Scripture and the Practice of Solidarity” .
